Takeoff Napoli • BW Photo Contest • Travel
I photographed this early morning takeoff from Naples, Italy last Fall. The morning haze was just burning off as Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples came into view on the right side of the aircraft. This made for a very scenic ride with a fond farewell to Napoli coupled with excitement for the next destination.

Very nice black & white photographs! I also use a iPhone 6s+ (plus) for a lot of my pictures. What apps do you use on your iPhone?
Hey thank you! I just use the iPhone photo editor and if I need any retouching I send to my desktop to use Photoshop. The photos here were shot in color and processed with the iPhone photo editor. Make sure you expand the editor by hitting the arrow to see all your choices and it will give you more image control. Here is a screenshot of the expanded editor and the settings I used for lighting in the window shot:
There is something very inspiring about photo taken from planes, the romance of flight and all that.
