"Slice of a Pumpkin" B&W Photo Contest ~ New Theme Announcement ~ Minimalism

This is my entry for the B&W Photo Contest ~ New Theme Announcement ~ Minimalism. First of all, I like the theme! This series I took, was based on my studies of Edward Weston, the brilliant Photographer. An in depth shooting of ordinary fruit and vegetable. This particular piece is a pumpkin slice, in case you are wondering. With the flash on slave mode pointed at the slice from above I got this effect that you can see. I used an almost closed aperture f36 I think. Just like weston did. Let my know what you think. Thanks for hosting @daveks
