「Recessed」

 

I approached the cliff from the bottom. The shelves on which I keep my books out of the rain are recessed into the stone.

Instead of books, on the shelves, is a bloody arm.

First of all, I look down to make sure it's not one of mine.

(I'm absentminded.)
