"Project Phoenix" Says Relax: This Is Happening

FUD FUD FUD. Tomorrow I will have a post that will really shake your perspective.

For now, I want everyone to focus upon the fact that what we keep discussing is happening. None of this is going away. We are involved in a major paradigm shift the world never witnessed.

Welcome to the age of tokenization. In years to come, there will be kid's songs about tokens.

Here a token, there a token, everywhere a token. E-I-E-I-O.

Trust me when I tell you, everything that isn't nailed down will be tokenized. Hell, even if it is nailed down, it will become a digital asset.

Of late, I made some mention of different projects that fall under the "Security Token" heading. There was the Andy Warhol painting which was partially tokenized (see you don't even have to tokenize the whole thing) followed up by a condominium building in New York City that followed suit.

Now, we see this happening to a Picasso. This is not only going tokenize the work of art, but also turn it into a digital asset.

Maecenas along with EtherShift and John McAfee are teaming up to move Pablo into the 21st century. The codename for this is "Project Phoenix".

This move is going to make the painting inaccessible. It can only be moved by a vote of the token holders. This is true decentralization taking place on the Ethereum blockchain.

A single ERC721 will be created for the digitized artwork while ERC20 tokens will represent the physical asset. The ERC20 holders will determine the fate of the painting over time.

While the world is focusing upon the carnage in the cryptocurrency markets, the paradigm shift is in full swing.

Security Tokens are the real deal. This is something you are going to see a lot more of in the future. There will be millions of different tokens created representing every asset we can think of. This is one of the things that has Wall Street drooling all over itself. They understand the potential of the tokenization of everything.

One thing about the FUD is that, if you are one who investigates things to any degree, it does not match what is really taking place. It is easy to buy into what they are saying yet the ones who are truly investing their time to research what is taking place see the fallacy of their message.

We also see a major step forward in decentralization. The Picasso work is going to be on the Ethereum blockchain meaning that, theoretically, anyone with any token on there can buy into this once it hits the open market. Naturally, according to the article, this is going to start out as an auction meaning only the certain people will be able to partake. After that, unless there is some type of requirement on the tokens, they should be available for sale like anything else on the Ethereum network. Of course, we do not know how many tokens are on there nor how far they will break it down to. Most of us could be excluded if tokens are only sold in whole units at $1M apiece.

However this particular situation turns out, we are now seeing the potential of this. I wrote an article a while back that showed how Steem could be an on-ramp to gaining access to the world's greatest treasures. Since things are going to be tokenized and, hopefully, end up on decentralized blockchains, we will be able to use what we earn on the Steem blockchain to tap into these markets.

Do you want to own a piece of NYC real estate? Simply use your @dlike for that. Have some extra AFITs that you earned from @actifit? Use it to buy a part of a Monet.. Is there a successful law firm in town? You can have a piece of the partnership agreement by using some Hunt tokens.

Right now, "Project Phoenix" is one of only a handful of transactions of this type. However, as they become more commonplace and people look to average investors, we are going to see them flourish on many different exchanges. This will put all of us who are hodling tokens in a very good position.

They can try to spread all the FUD they want. I am crystal clear as to how I see this thing unfolding over the next few years. They already are showing us the way. The elites know this. It is now up to us to understand what is taking place and ignore the noise.

Everything that is being spewed right now is intentional misdirection. Do not fall for it. The paradigm shift is underway.

And be careful, the next time someone says he or she has a bridge to sell you, that might be the truth.
