"Sky" Started Shedding
I learn that Husky normally shed twice a year like Spring and Autumn. I was advised that major shedding will only occur when husky puppy reaches 10 - 14 months until they grow the thicker adult coat.
Despite "Sky" being only 7 months old, she is already shedding like mad, dropping her white and grey hair everywhere on the floor, on the sofa and on my clothes! I really didn't expect her to blow so much undercoat so quickly, lol.
So I started to brush "Sky" every other day to remove her fuzzy puppy fur so she can be clean and comfortable. But this is not an easy task as she doesn't like it and runs away from it. It took me a while to teach Sky to accept being brushed and stay still until it is done.

With two German Shedders, I feel your pain.
Our house looks like a desert full of tumbleweeds during shedding season.
One recommendation I can give is make sure you brush is an undercoat rake. You can tell when the teeth are two diameters (Thick at the base, thin at the tip). It will make a night and day difference in your brushing.

Just make sure it's got teeth that look like this. Otherwise you'll be pulling the top coat which is uncomfortable for double-coat breeds (Huskies/Shepherds/Corgis etc)

O yes they are hard work and you have to brush every day - you will from now on mostly wear dog hair with clothes hahaha = but our animals are so much worth more.

Yes. I have owned a husky. Loved that dog. So independent and smart.
In my experience, shedding was all year round :-) It was really bad a couple of times a year however.
