🐼 Beautiful People - the next episode part 2
Jack cooking boerewors and chicken wings - and since our guest is a vegetarian who eats chicken we were Ok. We also cooked some sweet potato wrapped in tin foil directly on the coals - this is so delicious. Three of them had never had sweet potato before and loved it.
So here we go again - once more showing off our "boerewors" - directly translated to farmers sausage - the traditional South African barbecue to our new guest. We served it with the sweet potato, salad and pita with halloumi
Our guest is from Russia (her friends as well) and came to Cyprus to look after her friends cat. It so happened that she chose our place to stay in for the last 10 days of her stay in Cyprus and we happened to be in the same building as her friends. We invited the friends to join us.
The lady on the left is our guest and her friends are with her and the little girl sitting on her mums lap.
It was a really great evening. They brought their mum along who was here to see her grandchild, a two year old little girl - who was so well behaved.

After dinner they watched an animated video that Jack had made and the little girl was fascinated

This is the first time we have invited strangers to one of our barbecues - and I'm so glad we did - our other guest came to the barbecue as well - just as we were about to eat and they all were able to converse in Russian. It was good for all of them.
So this has been a lovely month so far. Since it's only the 19th of the month - we may have to do a part 3.
