Lana & The Soldiers

Seated here in the midst of nowhere, she is worried but clearly brave.

You could see that in her eyes. Her cloths were tattered but her beauty was still intact.

There is something about her eyes, the determination that projects from it with a tint of pride, the combo is a reality that only exists in fantasies.

She is a dream come true when it comes to the idea of complicated beauty.

We’ve been watching her for hours now, waiting for the order or her moves.

She was to be gunned down if she moves ,says the General, or better still we wait until there is a word of “SHOOT” from the other end of the radio.
The scene is a desert ground, with a tattered Lana surrounded by fifteen obviously thirsty and dry looking soldiers.

We’ve been in the desert for close to a month now, we ran out of food about two weeks ago, we had some air-blown drops but then that was it, we’ve been relying on travellers since then.

It’s an holy raid though. We ask nicely, then we expect you to reciprocate in same way, the desert being what it is, we rarely get nice response and you know respect is reciprocal , so we reciprocate your respect most times.

We’ve pulled many from their horses but clearly never wounded any and never taken more than a quarter of any of the supplies we found on travelers.

It’s for our country and the world at large.

We’re still standing still and she is still looking like she’s got some plans up her sleeves.

By the way, did I tell you she is the only female we’re seeing in months. The most beautiful many of us have seen in a life time. She is also the most sexy and innocent looking vicious criminal we’ve ever chased ever since we joined the Royal Army.

As you can see ,the order isn’t so easy for us. As soldiers ,we might just have to shoot with our eyes closed in case the man at the other says shoot.

Even at that, I believe that order will probably suffer some milliseconds of delay in response of execution just so we could savor the sight of this derelict beauty that stands before us.

Our Gun even stares at her in awe, if you know what I mean.
