Saudi Crown Prince Vowed to Continue Targeting Women and Children in Yemen Airstrikes, according to source

An article published on Monday by The Middle East Monitor (MEMO) revealed that Al-Khaleej Online recently reported that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman threatened to continue targeting women and children in future attacks on Yemen, according to an "informed source" who wished to remain anonymous. The comments were reportedly made by the Crown Prince in a meeting with his officers following western condemnation of a Saudi attack on a Yemeni school bus in which a US bomb killed 40 children earlier this month.

“Do not care about international criticism,” Bin Salman is alleged to have told his officers, a reference to the international condemnation of military operations against civilians in Yemen, particularly raids that kill women and children. “We want to leave a big impact on the consciousness of Yemeni generations. We want their children, women and even their men to shiver whenever the name of Saudi Arabia is mentioned.” - MEMO

Chilling words, especially if they are authentic, with serious implications considering the increasing US support of Saudi Arabia throughout the last 3 years of its genocidal war on Yemen.

Recent international outrage has done little to slow the Saudi genocide on Yemen, and the viscous attacks targeting civilians seem to have only intensified since the story of the horrendous bus bombing went mainstream, actions revealing the likely authenticity of the alleged words of the Crown Prince above. Early last week, the Saudi coalition slaughtered dozens more civilians in attacks on Hodeida. Then airstrikes last Wednesday night targeting the home of an important Yemeni political figure killed 4 of his family members, including 2 children, while airstrikes the next morning targeting a vehicle carrying civilians fleeing the city and then ambulances attempting to rescue the victims, slaughtered 31 civilians including 24 more children.

These latest senseless attacks demonstrate that the threats reportedly made by the Saudi Crown Prince line up perfectly with the actions of the murderous Saudi Kingdom. The US supports this genocide with funding, weaponry, and plenty of logistical support, refuses to condemn even the most heinous Saudi war crimes, and Congress refuses to de-fund the slaughter of Yemeni children by ceasing funding to Saudi Arabia. This is the madness of the US Empire.
