What a disappointment, a great disappointment would it have been if I had missed the steemup Delta event which took place yesterday.
Guys with all sincerity and honesty, it was a blast.
Beholding these peeps face to face seems like fairy tale.
Honestly is does. Jeez!!!!!!
How SteemUp Delta became a success - The DAWN
@michaelcj, @nmalove, @ewuoso, @casweeney and myself woke up pretty early to plan how the event will go since we all lodged in same hotel.
The planing was smooth and duties were quickly deligated to everyone.
No man was left unsaddled without a duty, even my bosses where eager to serve
At around 9am, we all started making reminder calls and doing last minute publicity to spread the news more.
Other activities also followed and before we knew it, it was already 10am.
How SteemUp Delta became a success - The Plegde
We all left the hotel few minutes past 10 in order to catch a quick bite at something.
We all were damn famished
Luckily for us we saw a food joint at a distance.
Immediately the love of originality made us forfeit earlier plans of having a bite and settled down for having a swallow.
A list of available food was offered to us and luckily for us Starch, Owo Soup and tinko Meat made the list too.
Yipi!!!
This very food (Starch, Owo Soup and tinko Meat) created a perfect scene because @michaelcj who came from kaduna has missed this delicacy which was one of best meal back then, I @jacobite have tasted starch and owo soup just once (as far back as 2015) when I was in Edo state while @ewuoso, @nmalove and @casweeney was tasting this beautiful delicacy for the very first time...
It was fun teaching them how to cut starch.
After the wonderful experience with Starch, Owo Soup and tinko Meat @ewuoso, @nmalove and @casweeney pledged their loyalty to this great Delta delicacy while I only renewed my pledge since I wasn't a first-timer like the others lolzzzz
How SteemUp Delta became a success - The GENESIS
After a minute rest and staring at the beautiful ladies that served us, we found our balance and set of to Shoprite for the event.
@Michaelcj changed into Santa's costume while we placed every other thing in positions.
We were at this time set to steam up Delta
We dished out flyers and spread the good news about steemit to a handful of shoprite shoppers.
It was fun
We were joined by real blockchain bosses, many I used to think that they were bots.
Like seriously @iluminatus isn't a bot?
@bhoa is both flesh and blood? and her even understands naija slangs wella?
Gosh!!!
I was blessed yesterday see these bosses.

@tojukaka lauched the program to a start with his soft intro.
This boss doesn't shout, I envy his lowkeylism
@mediahousent anchored the program like a pro he is, introducing senior men to say a word or two.
@ejemia welcome the newbies and oldbies lolzzz and gave sparks (plain steemit truth) to everyone sitted.
@gbenga judiciously explained some steemit terms like steem, steem dollar, steem power etc
@ehiboss gave the finishing punches to the lectures as he explained what I capture "how to survive on steemit.
Even I had to take notes from these peeps.
SteemUp Delta didn't just steamed up newbies, it also help re-ignite oldbies too

Santa (@michaelcj) was giving the best side attraction as he dishes out gifts to children and more his artificial pot-belly to some best.

At the end of the SteemUp Delta, we were able to ;
- Register some peeps there and then,
- Collected data of about 30 peeps who will like us to register for them,
- Inpire peeps to get home and do their registeration
- And left everyone with a round and well fed belly.
SteemUp Delta was magical
I am inspired.
