Freewrite Day 640 Awry
Today started well, and then all went awry.
I did not get the posts done I meant to, and then ended up messing up with not one, but two of the posts I did get done. I think sustained stress is getting me down.
I’m planning for Singapore and feeling worried. I need $120 usd to make the trip in “comfort,” and I do not think I will have it. So….
Back in my teenaged runaway days, I used to be able to live out on the streets for fairly long terms. But I am not young anymore, and really need to be able to stay in the hostel I booked. The cost for one night is as much as four nights in Yangon.
I still feel like STEEM is my best path and should stay on it. But today I was looking at post rankings for some people who curate me, and my low payouts were some of the highest on the lists. So many people have good posts that make less than 20 cents. So why should I think I can do better than $2? Hmm…
Maybe I need to look at my minnow tips and refresh my perspective.
You CAN Succeed on STEEM
There is no way my wifi will last, and so I need to pay more to go on until the 28th. This is $20 I do not have, but losing wifi means I will have nothing.
I thought I had the rent paid today, but now it will be tomorrow at 4 pm. I have not heard from my landlord and hope he is forgiving. It is so late now, that next month is coming up soon.
I am going to what I hope will be restful sleep and get back at it tomorrow. “Tomorrow is another day.” my mom said a thousand times.

This is what I do (use Partiko) once a post is loaded I switch off the connection. I read, answer, switch on, send and on to the next.
Internet always switched off if not needed.
Do you use steem-bounty - option always receiving votes (lot of work too).
Write less or old post new might save time too?
Sometimes I think most great posts seldom get what they deserve. The problem is not enough people notice you and we swim in between those who love the post but their votes are low.
Spreading the name is the only way I guess. How are your books doing?

I am switching on and off too, but so many things need me to stay "on."
I do use steem bouny for answering, not so much on my own posts. I like it and get a few bounty payments each week.
Post payouts are something you really have to work for here. I am trying to do better.
My books sell monthly, but the money from amazon goes to my son in California. I cannot get it overseas. My selz money for books comes to me, but it is not much.
It keeps struggling 🤔

I hope you will be able to find solution to your money problems @fitinfun. It is hard with the STEEM keep dipping. Can you work part time in Malaysia to help you earn more? English tuition or nutrition counseling maybe?
I do not have the right kind of visa to work here, @marblely. I have looked into some options like you say, but so far - nothing. Part time work would not provide the correct visa. I end up wasting time chasing after those ideas, and then steem work suffers.
I'm also not really that healthy. If I get dressed up and run around town I am drained. Sitting here working is hard enough. Thank you for all of your endless support. It means so much to me.
STEEM is a great way to supplement income, but it could definitely be difficult. It’s a grind! But someday it will all pay off

Well, I do not have much other income to be supplemented, @jeffjagoe. STEEM has been 90%+ of my income since Dec 2017. It has been paying off for me and I feel optimism this will continue. Yes, I am stubborn and hard-headed. But right now I have now other choice.

No worries @fitinfun, I love to upvote people, sometimes I forgot to check my power but I can just rest for 1-2 day, and it will go up again, it's fine.
Agree with what you Mom said "Tomorrow is another day", worrying like this is never healthy really hope your earnings go up to sustain you to travel Sharon.
I hope so, this continual catastrophe is wearing on me for sure, @joanstewart. I never dream, but my mom was in my dream last night cooking ham for me in Singapore! I am taking this as a good sign, lol.
