THE PRICE OF EDUCATION
or a health care agent to understand that it takes a period of time
for the incubation of any kind of diseases to develop and make you sick .
For example, When an intruder invades your body,
your immune system reacts like a command center
by releasing some antibodies to counter the threat.
And the healthier is the subject the more resistance does the disease encounter before transforming itself into a potential danger.
What is true for your body could be also true for a society or a country .
Let me explain what I mean by that.
It is a fact that everywhere in the world
you will find numerous countries with the trend of these far right
and extremist movements who use politics as a platform to convey
their vitriol of hate and xenophobia.
But never in modern time history have we seen somebody coming out of nowhere,
in a very short period of time been so successful as much as DT was.
There is no spontaneous generation in politics.
Every denouement got to be the result of a well planned and well executed work.
For instance, if you are interested in other nation history
you will know that it's been several decades
since a guy like Jean-Marie Le Pen( retired in 2011) is involved in politics,
carrying the same kind of extremism ,
the same core value as the motto by which the actual tenant of the White House got elected.
Now how would you explain the fact that the far right in France ,
despite some gain in some municipal legislative,
never go as far as getting elected to the presidency?
Would that be because DT happens to be more lucky ,
more eloquent and more substantial than Jean-Marie Le pen
and other figures who embrace the same philosophy ?
The answer might not be where you think it is.
Lets face it ,the ascension of this man defies all rationality
and everything that the political sciences teach.,
for he did not built any movement or any coalition.
So then the question still persists:
why did he get elected in a country of more 350 millions of people,
a country that can be proud to be the birth place
of great figures like Abraham Lincoln and MLK .
Lets simply say that It's not so much about him,
but rather it has to do with those to whom his message was well echoed and recieved.
In comparison, Jean-Marie Le Pen
had fail because the French people rejected
and rebuked his ideology.
They were able to to do so because
France is a country with a very high level of education.
It's not an easy task to convince an educated person
that others is to blame for every little sneeze of a nation.
Educated people are problems solvers.
They tend to be more tolerant and more open minded toward minorities.
So the success of DT lies on the fact that his rhetoric
and political messages of xenophobia and hate,
as dangerous and devastating they are ,
have found a fertile environment to ferment.
The period of incubation was too short for the disease to develop so quickly.
The conditions were there under a latent form,
waiting for a pathogen agent to spread out.
