For several millennia Orfeo has been the seat of Parliament, the city was designed specifically for this, it is located almost in the center of the galactic region that has been populated by humanity; in one of the first worlds colonized from Perseus.

It is a rocky planet with a wide ocean and two continents, it is perhaps the most idyllic planet that has been colonized, there was little that was required for its adaptation, it had an atmosphere with a gas mixture almost ideal, due to the presence of abundant native plant life; it is a world conquered prior to the existence of Parliament and the resolution not to touch worlds with the presence of forms of life; however, its abundant forests of purple and pink colored leaf trees have not been almost altered by humans.

Of the eight cities that exist on the planet, Orfeo is the southernmost, it is a coastal population flanked by a gigantic forest that almost completely covers the continent, which is also the only city.

A gigantic transport of personnel of the Planning Bureau of the Parliament, flew over the buildings of Orfeo, it was like a gigantic donut, that moved thanks to magnetic levitation, in its interior, about five hundred employees of the office, coming from another city of the planet, They came to meet their office hours. The bureau building was located north of the city, just in front of the monument to the old ship Orfeo, whose name came from the city.

Orfeo was one of the original colonizing ships, like Perseus, however, Orfeo suffered a failure to enter the atmosphere of the planet, crashing in the place where today is the monument in his honor. The existence of its remains was discovered when the continent was explored looking for a location to locate the city seat of the Parliament. It was the first contact of the descendants of Perseus, with another ship coming from its original world.

The giant donut approached the building, on the roof of this one a circular structure was the port of berthing of the ship, which was positioned on it and descended leaving the port inside the hole of the donut, the exit doors of the ship, located in the inner part of the hole, communicated with the docking port, inside which, eight elevators waited to transport the employees to their respective work floors.

Roderick, entered the elevator that would leave him in his office on the thirty-fourth floor of the building, after going through several changes of direction in the path of the apartment, he left it in the entrance hall of the budget section, of which he was one of the directors, responsible for managing the resources allocated to the offices of the Parliament in a sector that included four planets and fifteen space stations.

Although in the administration of the Parliament, most of the staff, performed their functions from personal terminals, without the need to go to an office, even the essential and trusted staff had to meet a minimum of weekly office hours, for Roderick this It was his eight-hour shift that would be spread over two days, this schedule was used for the planning meetings that were held with the local directors of the agencies he administered.

In front of her office, Laura, the director of another sector, waits for him.

-Director Roderick, I can give you a minute- she said sharply as he approached the door.

-With pleasure director- he responded coldly, approaching the door, which opened before his arrival. He greeted with a gesture to his assistant, who got up from her desk, located in front of his office, to receive him, - Hello Loira, please do not bother us- he said to his assistant, interrupting her, before she could say anything, - Go ahead director-said inviting Laura to go with a gesture, after they closed the door.

Inside the office Laura turned and went to Roderick, who was still behind the entrance, - I had been waiting for this all week-, she fell on him and began to kiss his neck and lips at the same time that she was beginning to hastily release the pins to the jacket of his elegant suit.

Outside the office, Loira was looking through the viewfinder of her communicator at the face of Sachi, the assistant of the director Laura, -they have already entered the office, will it be that the fools have not realized that the whole Bureau knows they have an affair? - she said.

-I guess as long as their couples don't know, they shouldn't mind too much.- Sachi answered on the other side of the line.
