This book is about the author's journey to meeting the top 500 company owners at his time and capturing all the ideas that made them succeed. Here are a few important points I picked out. These are the principles you need to apply to become a millionaire.

Mindset.
This is about the person you become along the way. Not about the money. For example, lock 10 millionaires in a room and let them go 5 years later they will make the money back again. If they're self-made it wouldn't be much of a problem because they have the skillset and connections.
Desire
You must want it bad enough that it becomes an obsession.No matter the odds you will make it happen. Elon Musk is a great example with his Falcon X space shuttle it was basically impossible to get a rocket to launch and land.
Faith
If you're going all in you need to have faith. You must be certain that it will work and keep revisiting that if you feel like it isn't possible. Fake it till you make it is common when it comes to this topic.
Quotes
You are the master of your destiny. You can influence, direct and control your own environment. You can make your life what you want it to.
Before success comes in any man's life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failure.
Specialized Knowledge
General knowledge is stuff you learn in school. Specialized knowledge is something you can't outsource. Knowing a lot about a specific topic. Example the top surgeons don't do everything but are experts in certain areas.
Organized planning
Persistence
Bill gates spent 10 years at home to create what he has now than he finally got the results. KFC owner tried 1009 to sell his product but he kept going till you see what he created now.
Mastermind
You are the average of the top 5 people you hang out the most. Be careful who you choose to hang out with. You need to hang out with those who have the same goals as you. Get a group share and give feedback on ideas so everyone grows. 4 40-year-olds together is 160 years of experience. Have the group hold you accountable.
Become bored
Thinking requires time to get good ideas. Stop all distractions and box yourself out and when you get bored you could think of the best ideas at this time. 5-8 Hour sessions.
