Anyone Else Having Posting Issues?
I have been trying to post a cigar review for over an hour. The "Submit a Story" is acting very strange. Backspaces, and return keys are causing the cursor to move somewhere else.
Typing as I go seems to work, but editing by moving the cursor somewhere else causes all types of trouble. I have tried Chrome, which I normally use, on two seperate devices. I have tried Busy.org only to have them error out when I was almost finished editing (bold, italics, and such), and my blog wasn't saved there.
I have also tried IE, and Safari doesn't even load Steemit.com.
I am copying/pasting from google docs, and tried notepad as well. If I try a spell check it copies the last paragraph I typed. It must be the damn Sasquach's fault!
Oh well I will try again tomorrow.

I write posts first in Steemwriter, then just copy/past, maybe that helps for now?
Ahh is this markdown only?
It works the same as markdown in steemit. I use it all the time. Create your post in steemwriter and then just copy/past .
I actually have never used markdown, I use the editor option on Steemit. I have HTML experience, so I suppose it shouldn't be too difficult.
HTML works pretty good in [steemwriter]
but then again, it kind of goes against what Steemit should be striving for (and I know they are), simplicity so grandma can use it.
I just made a short post to test, no problems here.

Use another writer tool to write like Microsoft Word and then just copy and paste.
That's it :)
Same issue with offline text editor too. (openoffice)
Having the same issues, phantom cursor and other little glitches, finally I went from 'Editor' to 'Markdown' and the Markdown gave me no trouble.
Yeah it is strange, I will switch to markdown. Hopefully they fix it soon for the sake of new users.
Maybe they'll blame their computer like I did, until I saw that others were having similar problems. Time for me to learn more Markdown anyway I suppose.

I just finished posting in markdown.. pretty simple really.
There's a few things that I still don't know in markdown, but it does seem simple.

gregm? I've been trying to post a 74-page article on Steemit for the past three days, and I've had no luck. I do everything according to the book. However, once I get to the point where I am clicking the blue "Post" button icon on the screen, the computer screen does nothing. I just cleared out my cached files from my browser, because someone suggested that I do so. However, I don't know how well this is going to work. I don't believe that it is the size of my article, because I've come across other posted stories and articles that were even over a 100 pages long. Do you have any advice that you can give me on how to deal with this problem?
