Stay Strong, the Majority is Usually Wrong!

in #btc7 years ago

When I first got into Bitcoin and Crypto investing everyone told me I was a fool, they said that it is a Ponzi Scheme, a bubble and I was going to waste my money. People said things like:

  • It can't be good because no one is investing in it.
  • The news says its a Ponzi scheme.
  • No companies are using them.
  • Anyone can make these fake currencies up.
  • It's not backed by anything.
  • It will be gone in a year or less.

I just want to shake these people and yell in their face that BLOCK CHAIN WILL CHANGE THE WORLD!

The point is many people said it was bad to sum it up. Well in the grand scheme of things Bitcoin has done nothing but go up. I know people are going to say "Bitcoin just crashed" but your wrong if you say that. Bitcoin last February was $1,190, Feb 2016 it was $436 today its $8,400 so where is the crash? https://www.statista.com/statistics/326707/bitcoin-price-index/. Bitcoin has grown astronomically in the past few years.

So let me make this clear, you will never reach your potential if you follow the crowd. The term "the 1 percent" is a term referring to the richest 1 percent of the world and let me tell you, they do the exact opposite of when the rest of the 99% do. When the markets are crashed, they buy, when the markets are up, they sell. When people are moving out of bad neighborhoods they are buying houses. When the few are home thinking and planning the many are out partying and shopping.

Okay enough of the cat poster motivation, seriously though for those of us who got on board Crypto now while its new, we will reap the benefits of when the masses pour in all late to the party and we will join the ranks of the 1%.

So we are still waiting on Chinese New Year and until then I will not be making any short term picks but I will give you give you guys some of my long term plays that I have been adding to my positions on.

I am not a financial advisor and this is not financial advice, this is just my opinion, invest at your own risk.

Do not be influenced by naysayers, do not let people talk you out of good decisions.

Fabtasticpost my friend. More people need to look at it this way. But sadly most... are M.S.M. lemmings... following the crowd ... over the cliff because "It's what everyone else is doing"

Thanks, and absolutely, many are following the words of the main stream media and would as you said run off a cliff like lemmings (I used to play a nintendo game called lemmings as a boy where it was the plays job to stop them with mechanical means from doing just that). lol.

my thoughts exactly!

I believe in believe in Crypto I think this is our future

Agreed, this is the next stage of the internet. When people say things bad about it I tell them, they are launching Satellites into space!

Looked at your post and I can say one you are a master, good posts. Thank you so much for sharing your valuable information with us.

thank you for this very flattering comment friend! Resteems always appreciated.

Great post! Totally agree, being a contrarian investor is what makes you money. It takes guts to go against the crowd but once you see the payoff once or twice you wouldn't think twice about following the majority.

Can I ask how you stake your coins mentioned? Do you leave your computer on? Or do you host them on a virtual PC? Would love to know!

For NEO, you can do it on a virtual PC or even just hold them on Binance and Binance will distribute GAS.
As for Ark and Strat you have to leave your computer on running a node (It takes very little power), but if your computer gets shut off for a little while its okay because the program will catch back up to the network. For Steem, you have to send your to your Steemit wallet and power up. Now for Ven Chain, Ven is different because they do not have their own wallet so it is more complicated. I am in the process of doing this because I only just bought into Ven. I plan to set it up for staking today, I will make a tutorial once I have completed it.

Thanks! Super useful. I've considered using a staking pool. But can't find any with mainstream coins just these smaller ones. What are your thoughts on pools? (E.g. Stakeunited)

I have never looked into it. I am not a fan of sharing and trusting others.

How do you think the dogecoin currency will rise in price?

I am actually surprised Dogecoin is still a thing. It solves no problems, has no real work use and even the creator did not take it seriously. When I look for something to invest in, I try to see why it is needed what is is value and purpose, what problem does it solve. What problem would you say Dogecoin solves? They say is good for anonymous transactions, but they are not better then Verge or Monero https://twitter.com/hashtag/vergecurrency?lang=en. They say it is easy to use, well any currency is easy to use if they have a good wallet. In my opinion people on Reddit coordinate pump and dumps on this coin so they can make a few bucks and have a laugh simultaneously. I am sorry but I just do not see any value in this coin. Again I am not a financial advisor and I may be completely wrong, but in my opinion this coin has no future. Go to their website and read about them, then go to coins like IOTA, Cardano, Matrix and then respond back to me and tell me if you agree or disagree friend. I really do not mean to sound harsh so I will say something positive about Dogecoin, they are very good at marketing.
