নেপালে বিমান বিধ্বস্ত: বৃহস্পতিবার রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক
নেপালের কাঠমান্ডুতে বাংলাদেশের বিমান বিধ্বস্তের ঘটনায় ব্যাপক প্রাণহানিতে নিহতদের স্মরণে এক দিনের শোক পালন করবে বাংলাদেশ। আগামীকাল বৃহস্পতিবার পালিত হবে ‘শোক দিবস’ হিসেবে।
বুধবার প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের শেখ হাসিনার সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠিত এক জরুরি সভায় এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর উপ প্রেস সচিব আশরাফুল আলম খোকন এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন। সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী শুক্রবার মসজিদ মন্দিরসহ সকল ধর্মীয় প্রতিষ্ঠান ও উপাসনালয়ে দোয়া ও প্রার্থনা সভা অনুষ্ঠানের কর্মসূচি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
এর আগেই বাংলাদেশ থেকে চিকিৎসক এবং আরও প্রয়োজনীয় লোকবল নিয়ে একটি বিমান পাঠানো হয় নেপালে। বেসামরিক বিমান চলাচল ও পর্যটনমন্ত্রী এ কে এম শাহজাহান কামালও এখন দেশটিতে অবস্থান করছেন। বিমান দুর্ঘটনায় আহতদের দ্রুত দেশে ফিরিয়ে এনে চিকিৎসার ঘোষণাও দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী।
বিচার পরিচালনাকারী সংস্থা ইউএস বাংলা এয়ারলাইন্সের পক্ষ থেকেও আহতদের তাদের খরচে দেশে আনা এবং চিকিৎসার ঘোষণা দেয়া হয়েছে। সেই সঙ্গে নিহতদের মরদেহ দ্রুত দেশে ফিরিয়ে আনার চেষ্টা চলছে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। তবে দুর্ঘটনার পর আগুন লেগে যাওয়ায় অনেক মরদেহ পুড়ে গেছে, ফলে তাদেরকে শনাক্ত করা কঠিন হয়ে পড়েছে।
