World's 6th largest bridge - Hawrah bridge
Ravindra Setu is a "kantilivar bridge" on the Hooghly river in West Bengal, India. It connects Howrah to Kolkata.
It is known more by the name of "Howrah Bridge". This is the sixth largest bridge of your kind. Normally there are pillars under each bridge on which it remains, but it is a bridge which is hinged on only four pillars, after two sides of this river and the width of fifty kilometers, on the other side of the river. No strings, etc. like any rope etc. for support. Thousands of tons of this world's brilliant steel gurders have built themselves on the four pillars in such a way that it has remained in the air for 80 years, it has not made any difference, whereas lakhs of numbers are day and night heavy vehicle and The pedestrian crowd passes through it. When the British imagined this bridge, they wanted to make such a bridge that the river's water route did not stop there. So there is no pillar under the bridge. The bridge will be built up and down and the water vessel and boat in Hooghli continue to move without obstruction.
