North American landscape in Ukrainian steppe ~ Boulder Sunday

in #bouldersunday5 years ago (edited)

Hello, friends!

Today is #BoulderSunday hosted by our @shasta. And I didn't miss it thanks to @whatisnew!

This place is located close to the one I wrote about in my previous #bouldersunday post. Aktove canyon and Arbuzinsky canyon looks really unusual and atypical for the south of Ukraine. It is because the relief near the village of Aktovo, where the canyon is located, was formed billions of years ago as a result of the activity of the volcano.

Center of the universe - this is a literary translation of the name of the rock, where this bit flag of Ukraine is installed. It looks spectacular against the blue summer sky.

There is almost no winter in the Arbuzinsky canyon. Yes, when there is snow in the area, you can find violets and green grass in the canyon. This is explained by the fact that the volcano that formed the rocks many years ago was not completely cooled down and still gives off heat. source

Me and my husband have been here twice, both times in spring. But now my dream is to come back again in autumn to see all colors in their fall beauty....

Thank you, @angelro. When I came to Steemit, first I did it for fun, and use it like a usual social network. Sometimes I read some piece of info that was necessary but did not have the whole vision.

So, the course is interesting and valuable indeed. Hope it will help newbies to not make my mistakes ))

What a very beautiful place and wonderful boulders @zirochka! :-)
Sounds and looks like paradice year round! The pasture looks
real good from all the volcanic goodies. Nothing prettier than
flowers around boulders! Looking forward to the autumn dressings!
Thank you for showing this awesome place!
