Earth History - And A Walk Through It 200 Million Years Ago / Erdgeschichte - Und ein Rundgang vor 200 Millionen Jahren

For todays #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay I have a very special #botanicalgardentours post for you .. a walk that took place 200 million years ago during the Phanerozoic Era of the world !!

Für die heutige #wednesdaywalk von @tattoodjay habe ich einen ganz besonderen #botanicalgardentours Post für euch .. einen Spaziergang, der vor 200 Millionen Jahren während des Phanerozoikum stattfand !!

The Precambrian Eras of the Earth

• Hadean / Hadaikum (4.5 BY - 4 BY)

• Archean / Archaikum (4 BY - 2.5 BY)

• Proterozoic / Proteozoikum (2.5 BY - 0.5 BY)

The earth we are all living on is approximately 4.5 billion years old. After the Hadean phase (4.5 BY - 4 BY), which can be called hell on earth, life started to evolve in the more calm and steady Archaean Phase (4 BY - 2.5 BY). In the following Proterozoic Phase (2.5 BY - 0.5 BY) the atmosphere then started to accumulate oxygen due to the evolution of algae and plants. Those three phases are summarized in the Precambrian Era.

Die Erde, auf der wir alle leben, ist etwa 4,5 Milliarden Jahre alt. Nach dem Hadaikum (4.5 BY - 4 BY), welches zu Recht als die Hölle auf Erden bezeichnet werden kann, begann sich das Leben im Archaikum (4 BY - 2.5 BY) zu entwickeln. Im folgenden Proteozoikum (2,5 BY - 0,5 BY) begann die Atmosphäre dann damit Sauerstoff aufgrund der Entwicklung von Algen und Pflanzen anzusammeln. Diese drei Phasen werden zusammen das Präkambrium genannt.

• Paleozoic / Paläozoikum (500 MY - 250 MY)

• Mesozoic / Mesozoikum (250 MY - 60 MY)

• Cenozoic / Känozoikum (60 MY - NOW)

The last phase (0.5 BY - 0 BY) is called the Phanerozoic and is characterized by the Cambrian Explosion, the visible spreading of life and animal diversity all over the planet. The Phanerozoic can also be crudely divided into three parts. The Paleozoic (500 MY - 250 MY), where plants and fungi and animals colonized the whole land. Then the Mesozoic (250 MY - 60 MY), where dinosaurs where predominant on earth and finally the Cenozoic (60 MY - NOW), where mammals are predominant.

Die letzte Phase (0,5 BY - 0 BY) wird Phanerozoikum genannt und ist gekennzeichnet durch die Kambrische Explosion, die sichtbare Verbreitung von Leben und der Artenvielfalt der Tiere auf dem ganzen Planeten. Das Phanerozoikum kann auch grob in drei Teile unterteilt werden. Die Paläozoikum (500 MY - 250 MY), in dem Pflanzen und Pilze und Tiere das ganze Land besiedelten. Dann das Mesozoikum (250 MY - 60 MY), wo Dinosaurier auf der Erde vorherrschen und schließlich das Känozoikum (60 MY - NOW), wo Säugetiere vorherrschen.

• 4 AM : First unicellular organism and beginning of life / Ersten Einzeller und Beginn des Lebens

• 11 AM : Photosynthesis started, with algae as the first pioneer / Photosynthese beginnt, mit Algen als Pioniere

• 10:55 PM : The first mammals on our planet / Die ersten Säugetiere auf unserem Planeten

• 11:59:56.4 PM : Homo sapiens evolved /Homo Sapiens tritt auf

• 11:59:59.9 PM : During the last 0.1 second agriculture and stock farming was introduced to the planet / In den letzten 0.1 Sekunden wurde Ackerbau und Tierzuchteingeführt

When I look at those crude numbers, creation of the world 4.5 BY ago, formation of live 4 BY ago, spreading of plants and living on the land 500 MY ago, I cant other than feeling that we are living on a miraculous place that grow into a wonderful ecosystem. It is quite amazing and a horrible shame that humans, which already stated with agriculture 10000 years ago and finally went over to industrialization 200 years ago, just destroyed nearly all of this in just a not even notable tiny fraction of time. And they do not even want to stop this !! .. We already destroyed gigantic areas of forests, reduced biodiversity to a minimum but still plan the total destruction and formation of earth to a second marsian like dead planet in the next 100 years. On one hand I am sorry for the earth and all its life on it, but on the other hand I have to admire humankinds capability of terraforming a whole planet in just a couple of hundred years, also it is not on purpose but rather due to an unstoppable will of self-destruction.

Wenn ich mir diese rohen Zahlen ansehe, die Schöpfung der Welt vor 4.5 BY, die Entstehung von Leben vor 4 BY, die Bevölkerung von Pflanzen und das Leben auf dem Land vor 500 MY, kann ich nicht anders als das Gefühl zu haben, dass wir an einem wunderbaren Ort leben, der zu einem wunderbaren Ökosystem zusammen gewachsen ist. Es ist schon erstaunlich und eine schreckliche Schande, dass der Mensch, der bereits vor 10000 Jahren mit der Landwirtschaft angefangen hat und schließlich vor 200 Jahren in die Industrialisierung übergegangen ist, fast alles in einem nicht einmal bemerkenswerten winzigen Bruchteil der Zeit zerstört hat. Und wir wollen es nicht einmal stoppen !! .. Wir haben bereits gigantische Waldgebiete zerstört, die Artenvielfalt auf ein Minimum reduziert, aber trotzdem die totale Zerstörung und Bildung der Erde zu einem zweiten marsianischen toten Planeten in den nächsten 100 Jahren geplant. Auf der einen Seite tut es mir leid für die Erde und ihr ganzes Leben auf ihr, aber auf der anderen Seite muss ich die Fähigkeit der Menschheit bewundern, einen ganzen Planeten in nur ein paar hundert Jahren zu terraformieren, wenn auch nicht absichtlich, sondern aufgrund eines unaufhaltsamen Willens zur Selbstzerstörung.
