How to run a Job Search using LinkedIn Engine
First, attempt to reduce your presentation of who you are to about not more than 12 relevant Keywords.
Choosing the right Keywords is an art and requires thinking in terms of the market may call your position. Probably research must be done in order to find equivalent words used by the market.
Make sure you get familiar with basic Boolean Algebra. Most Connectors you will use will be OR, AND, .. All depends on the type of Data Base used by the Engine
Now construct your Query using some Keywords from your Set.
I will give you an example based on the case of https://www.linkedin.com/in/laurafigueroagonzalez
Here I reduce everything to *"Biologia OR Biology OR Biological" since these keywords will define the whole market for this type of career.
Declare your Query to the Engine and Run it.
You will see the Following Engine Tabs:
- All
- People
- Jobs
- Content
- Companies
- Groups
- Schools
Click on Jobs Tab. Here the appearance of the User Interface will different depending if you are using Laptop or Android Table. Define Location, and proceed to declare minimum filters possible, since you are trying to see global picture of the market. Normally, I choose recent and define distance in km from target location.
And that is all. Check the whole Market, one post at a time. Depending on your search there may be few or thousands.
And if you ran into problems, just drop me a Post Question via https://steemit.com where I have move my whole operation, including Customer Support.
