The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
I just finished reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho .

It's one of the most inspiring book have read this year and am hlad I got it from adams book store on instagram, all thanks to the boy at the reception who made me got it.
The book is about a boy called Santiago who's a shepherd and his journey and dream made him went into an adventure to seek a treasure he dreamed about and his personal legend.
He encountered different obstacles and setbacks that made him who he was at the of the book.
When I read about how The Alchemist came to spotlight, I was like wow!!! Paulo Coelho had an optimistic spirit because if I were to be the one, to be honest low esteem would creep in and at the end I might just give up with the mentally that it won't work since I barely sold the first and second copy by my publisher.
Santiago got me smiling with the reasons that made him wants to read thick books. I was like boy, when you get it, you would be like "So this is what have been missing." lol.
I wanted to know how he told his parents that he doesn't want to be a priest any longer, what was his parents reaction. Were their mad, angry or just okay with his decision. Did they see him as an agnostic or atheist when he wanted to know things that are much important to him than knowing God and learning about man's sins. And to my surpise his parents let him be.
He travelled through different countries, met different humans and things.
I loved how the book talks about religion. How Santiago connected with the elements of the world.
The book talks about the body, soul and elements surrounding it and beyond.
A read for everyone.

@uche-nna
You know that is a good read for anyone, who is in charge of other people, makes you think more positive about the human-race in general, an optimistic mindset can change a lot.
