About This Tree
After a month of watching this tree lose all of its leaves during the heatwave...
It is finally starting to kick some ass again with new leaves.
Leaves are popping out at every node, and they are looking as big and beautiful as before.
Actually this is what it looked like at the onset of the heatwave. It will return to its former glory, I am sure.
This is a hydrangea cutting that I started growing last year. It has never flowered, but one day I expect to see some large snowball blooms on it.
Once I get used to the way hydrangea grows, I may consider growing other varieties with more colorful flowers, or even consider grafting them onto this one. They are supposed to be very cold tolerant, and grow well in the shade or full sun.
When the new leaves come out, I really like the red lines that outline the leaves before the nitrogen in the soil fully greens them up.

Beauty! I chose this because I love my hydrangea so much. Year after year, they provide me with a beautiful backdrop in my gardens.

I chose this name because the leaves are serrated and have points and that reminds me of ivy or some kind of vine.
Is Vin a typo, for Vine? Or did you mean like Vin Diesel?
