Dealing with stress

I am amazed at the huge number of people that have to deal with anxiety and stress nowadays. Honestly, I think like every second person I see is stressed or anxious. That's why I felt like sharing some of my own insights I've picked up dealing with stress and anxiety.

Dealing with negative people


Sometimes there are certain people that leave a negative influence on us, be it through their words or through their actions. Most of them don't really know what they cause to others, so they are not to blame.

People often tend to repress their feelings and remarks in negative scenarios, this results is as if one is storing the negative scenario within his mind and in some cases in his body. Afterwards this gets transformed into anxiety due to the unavailability of release.

I'd never recommended violence or using negativity towards others but I do say that one should always know when to tell others they have stepped the line.

Energy and the Body


Whatever the scenario might be the results get lodged directly into us. Small amounts of anxiety get processed by the mind and by small I do say quite small. The rest gets stored within our body on an energetic level, typically in fats and in some cases depending on the situation in muscles [Not 100% sure about bones.

This is the reason people tend to eat a lot of food when they get anxious or depressed. It happens to people that don't do much physical activity. This way the body gets new fats to use as storage because the other fats are jammed.

With greater amounts of anxiety or negative energy the body will begin a dry fast purge. This means the person will stop eating for a given amount of time so the body can burn the fats easier.

Dealing with trapped energy


Typically the body regenerates on its own when we rest or sleep. But we can boost the rates of regeneration, doing so we help the subconscious mind surface out any trapped stuff and divert some energy to help the nervous system and cells work everything out.

Disclaimer: There are certain intense meditation and yoga techniques that may bring up blocked energy more rapidly, I don't recommend indulging in any of these if a person has gone through a lot, rather seek out an energy healer or a yoga instructor.

The fact on anxiety getting stored in the form of fats was new, interesting and surprising at the same time. This really explains why fat people are often anxious and why anxiety makes you eat more. And I agree with what you said on that some negative people are unaware of how their energy or words affect you so they aren't to blame. There is this one person in my family who is lovely but has a habit of saying things to others that often hurt them. She doesn't do that to hurt them; it's her style. The best way to deal with such negativity is to cut back on your interaction with such people or to avoid bringing up topics that may cause you discomfort. And yes, I was aware of the dreams being cleared from our system fact. It ensures that there is no information overload in your brain and you stick with what you deem as important. Good post btw!
