Good morning Steemit
It's grey and rainy today, so it seems to me like it's a good day for gaming.
First, however, some steeming!
So yesterday, I made things! I made both lime squares and mint squares! Why? Well, because I had to finish our avocados before they went bad. One had already gone bad, but the other two still worked fine. The lime squares turned out alright, but the minty squares came out a big mess! It's my own fault for being impatient and using coconut oil too close to going solid again.
So the lime squares look a lot like the lemon squares I made ealier. Except that the topping isn't solid. Also, well... it tastes like lime.
And this is what happens when you don't wait long enough for your middle layer to freeze solid. Oh well, still tastes good!
I'll share both recipes with you in the future, because besides the mess, they are pretty yummy.
So, my boyfriend's best friend came over yesterday for dinner and he stayed the evening. We didn't do archery, because it was rainy and the roofed area was in use by... well... I don't really know who, but they were many females and they weren't there for archery.
We decided to wok for dinner, but it turned out quit bad. The fake meat and new sauce we tried weren't really good at all, so they kind of ruined the whole dish. Oh well, we'll know that for next time.
After dinner, the two of them sat in front of my boyfriend's pc to do some gaming/watch some gaming. I watched some tv. To be more precise, I watched The Voice. I don't like all the crap around this program, but I do like to hear these unkown people sing. I'm always hoping there's a lot of rockers who manage to go through to the next round, because let's be honest, popular music's gone to crap. Give me a good guitar and voice over all this electrical, fake stuff any day. Not to even mention the whiny voices or the 'bling bling', half naked ladies clips. Honestly, what the heck is up with this world?
Anyway, so there's that! Today, we'll just do groceries and not much else I think. Oh, maybe empty out my boyfriend's old house some more. Yes, we did that in the past, but we skipped the kitchen cabinets. Gotta empty those before the house is sold!
Well, today's a good day to do inside things.

That sucks that you guys didn't get to do any archery today, I haven't done it in many years but I remember it being a fun activity.
As for music... mainstream radio stuff, naybe not that great, but there's always new bands forming and looking at an international scale there's a lot of interesting genres and songs coming out.

That's okay, we can do archery in our backyard basically, so we'll just do it somewhere this weekend instead.
You're right about the music! I love finding new artists to listen to. Spotify has introduced me to quite a few new bands in the past, as has Youtube before that. Yay for the internet, right? :-)

Mhmm, discovering music always feels like a rewarding intimate adventure for me. Oh! I would also recommend checking out the Eurovision yearly contests, a lot of the content from past years into current is on there. Ive found a lot of obscure, different, and eclectic artists on there <3
Yeah, we live on my boyfriend's dad's property now and it's quite a big piece of land. He does a lot of archery, so he made himself a nice practice area which we now use aswell :-)

I miss the boybands in the 90s instead of all these auto-tune weird songs..
Aah yes, with their nice little dance routines and love songs! You know what I liked most about 15 years ago? When MTV was still a bit about music and they had their evening's 'Rock hour'! I always watched that before going to bed to find some new rock and punk bands to listen to :D
By punk you mean bands like Blink 182?
