Top 10 REAL Life Superheroes
Superheroes aren’t just fictional characters or people who have extraordinary powers or skills. Superheroes can be found in your very own community fighting crime or improving the neighborhood. It just goes to show you that not all superheroes wear capes. So, let’s get right into it with the top 10 real life superheroes.
10: Life
He is known as a major hero on the streets of New York City with his acts of kindness. He likes to wear a fedora and tie while he ventures out with a big bag full of toothbrushes, soaps and food when he selflessly hands these items out to the homeless. This just goes to show you that not all superheroes need to fight crime in order to have the title.
9: Nyx
She chose the name Nyx from the Greek goddess who ruled the night. She started her superhero spree at the age of sixteen in Kansas City and she decided to put her efforts into helping the homeless in her neighborhood. But now she has moved to New York where she does the same thing, providing food, shelter and help to the homeless.
8: Geist
During the day, he is a responsible while collar worker but at night he transforms himself into a superhero. He patrols the streets of Rochester, Minnesota attempting to stop crime and graffiti artists from vandalizing city monuments.
And of course, he also helps the hungry and homeless by providing them with warm meals and assistance.
7: The Statesman
He protects the streets of Birmingham in the United Kingdom by stopping drug deals and preventing burglaries. He attempts to help others in danger by using a flashlight to score off any criminals who cross his path. I don’t know about you, but if I was fighting crime, I’d want more than just a flashlight protecting me.
6: Knight warrior
Roger Hayhurst is a gardener by day but at night, he patrols the streets of Manchester, breaking up fights and tackling anti-social behaviour. He vowed to help removed crime from the streets and when he’s not fighting crime, he hands out food to homeless people.
Knight Warrior doesn’t carry any gadgets or weapons with him but he does have a flashy costume that everyone in his neighborhood recognizes.
5: Captain Australia
He is a stay at home father of two but he has always had a desire to clean up the streets of Queensland. One day he was so motivated that he put together his own superhero costume and he decided to patrol the streets.
Captain Australia said that he prefers to take more of a preventative approach to crime and he thinks that if criminals just see him in the area, they will most likely not commit a crime. He claims to have stopped a rape by showing up on the scene and scaring away two men who were harassing a drunk woman.
4: Dark Guardian
He has helped to break up fights and prevent muggings. He has extensive martial art training which helps him a lot when he is out fighting crime in Manhattan, New York.
One of his tactics is to scout the area, identify a drug dealer and then sneak up on them. When he’s close enough, he will leap out and point a flashlight in their face and shout.
3: Phoenix Jones
He has been fighting crime all over Seattle for a few years. Is he known for confronting criminals while dressed in a superhero costume as he patrols the streets of Seattle. Phoenix Jones has a long list of heroic incidents including chasing down car thieves and following an accused stabbed until the police arrived. I just hope that he remains safe and doesn’t get himself into any danger.
2: Shadow
Ken Andre calls himself Shadow and spends up to four nights a week out on the streets near his home in Somerset, UK stopping drug dealers and muggers. In the few years that he has been doing this, he said that he has stopped dozens of crimes.
He has been studying Ninjutsu since he was very young and once he even stopped a carjacker by throwing nun chucks at him.
1: Mr. Xtreme
He is a security guard during the day but by night, he transforms into Mr. Xtreme patrolling the streets in his costume looking for criminals and protecting the streets of San Diego. He is trained in self defense, first aid and CPR.
He also carries a taser, handcuffs, pepper spray and over the years he has instigated several citizen arrests.

Interesting thought provoking post. Shows people's creativity in stepping up to make a difference and make a positive statement with their colorful identity and presence! Maybe everyone doesn't want to wear a mask or cape but you can still put on the identity you need to step up and help and be who you really want to be.
