Today we are talking about the top 10 Craziest Swimming Pools that Actually Exist

10: Pool on a Skyscraper

Woah… you are literally on top of the city, if not the world, if you get an invite to the Sands SkyPark infinity Pool in Singapore. Located in the Downtown core of the Lion City, rooftop pool allows stunning views and photo opportunities. Although, it probably isn’t for those with a fear of heights!

9: Pool Bridge

You have heard of London Bridge, but have you heard of London’s first pool bridge? Currently in development by the River Thames, the Embassy Gardens buildings will feature a Sky Pool that bridges the gap between two ten storey buildings. Which is pretty insane. Having lived in London for a long time, this seems kind of crazy because there will probably only be like 3 weeks of the year the weather is actually nice enough to use the pool…but hey, it’s an architectural novelty.

8: Golden Pool

If you know me, you’ll know I love me some gold! For that reason, I’d love me some Golden Pool action! This pool at the St Regis in Tibet is gold in colour thanks to the golden leaf tiling of the pool.

The pool is part of a wider spa and is made up of heated salt water. I am all about that gold pool life.

Okay, next up we have two natural pools, because nature was rocking some pretty crazy pools way before we intervened!

7: Ik Kil Cave Pool

This Mexican natural beauty spot is located near the famous Chichen Itza site. It is a deep, natural pit in an open topped cave, allowing sunlight to pour in and vines to tickle the water. The colour of the water looks incredible and the natural beauty spot has been made more accessible by the addition of steps.

6: The Blue Lagoon in Iceland

The Blue Lagoon is a geothermic spa in Iceland, just outside of Reykjavik. You can swim in warm, healing, very very blue water and have a swim around to the backdrop of iceland’s breathtaking mountains. The good thing about this pool is that it is good all year round. There is also a swim up bar and free face masks!

5: Y-40 pool

Y-40, The Deep Joy, is basically a scuba and free diver training pool that is 137 feet deep. It holds the Guinness World Record for being the deepest man made swimming pool.

The pool has all kinds of features and depths, depending on what you want to experience. There are caves to explore, tunnels, and the scary deep hole that goes right to the bottom.

It also has several observation decks and windows for people to peer at the divers.

4: Underwater Bar

Swim up bars are one thing, but under water bars….what is this madness! The Underwater Nightclub in New York City was created by Techno Marine and gave funsters dicing helmets that enabled people to walk and breathe underwater.

There’s even underwater pole dancers! I don’t really know how they managed to drink their drinks. Apparently this has inspired other such event, like underwater dubstep.

3: Happy Magic Watercube Park

The words Happy and Magic are pretty accurate at describing what is happening here! The water park, located in Beijing, China, looks like the stuff of dreams. Architecturally, this place looks rad, But I bet it is also as fun as it looks a plethora of pools and slies what is not to love!

2: Crocasaurus Cove

Crocasaurus Cove which allows you to swim in a little cage in a pool of crocs. This pool is mainly inhabited by crocadiles, but you can pay to swim with them…yes pay…to swim with killer reptiles…I’d rather pay to know I would never have to swim next to one in my life!

1:  Red Wine Pool

This is my kind of pool. Forget all about golden pools, naturally beautiful swimming pools, forget crocs and even forget fun water slides. This is the ULTIMATE POOL a pool filled with red wine.

At the Yunesson Spa Resort in Japan you can swim in a giant wine pool. Gallons upon gallons of merlot to slosh in! Not only is wine delicious, but bathing in red wine has loads of anti gaining skin benefits that promote longer cell life in the body!

So that was the top ten craziest pools that actually exist? Which would you like to swim in the most!
