Saving private Amy ..chapter 4

Amy decided to contact as many of the testimonial participants from this strange website, as possible.
A least as many as her free time would allow for, anyway.

Until she could ascertain what this website was about, she would keep digging.
It was still bugging her, because she couldn't pin down exactly what this site was. Even though it was irritating, it was also interesting.

So few things really interested her nowadays.
Her job in some small way- but since success had landed squarely at her feet the challenge was now gone.
Recently, it had become more of a very fat paycheck and just going through the motions.
She had lost her hunger for the whole industry, truth be told, and she only ever admitted it - even to herself, after bottle of Chablis at home in her apartment.... and never to anyone else.
Her friends? Not at all. Her interest in them went as far as five minutes chat to catch up on their lives, and then boredom. She was different to them, and a little envious of their lives. They seemed so.. so....complete, somehow.
In a way that she wasn't.
She asked herself - many times - about the possibility of children, but the maternal instinct seemed to have skipped her. She felt no real desire for having kids.
'And it would ruin my figure', she thought lightheartedly.
She knew she had a very good figure, if all the attention she received from men, was anything to go off.

Men didn't really keep her interest either, her sparse sex life erupting, only when mother nature flooded her bloodstream with hormones.

'Maybe if I met the right man, who knows,?' She said to herself, but that seemed pretty unlikely.
She just wasn't that interested in having a relationship with anyone.

She was happy, just not as content as she wanted to be.
Something wasn't quite fitting in her life, but it was no drama to her. She wasn't a drama queen.

She decided on emailing 3 guys and 3 girls initially - to try and get as broad a picture as was possible.
She emailed them, and asked them when would it be a good time to chat live over the webcam.

She was surprised when all 6 replied within 12 hours. Unusual yet again, to have a response rate like this.
Some of the testimonial participants were over 2 years old and she didn't really expect any reply from those ones.
She purposefully chose a range of time frames, to try and get some idea of retention rates.

All 6 of them replied....
...from over 2 years old testimonials, to just over 2 months old ...

'OK,' She thought, 'Lets see what they have to say about chatting with me.'
She never went into any details concerning the content of the chat, just telling them the details of the application process, and the email asking her contact the testimonial participants.

All 6 emails replies were the same. Non were identical, but very close to...

They all said ' I will chat whenever you request at any time of your choosing, seven days a week. I am here for your inquiries. I am here to help you in any way I can.'

Amy was puzzled even more now.

What a bizarre response. And why virtually the same answer?
It wasn't an auto reply. They were personal, but pretty much all saying the same thing.

A sex site came to mind once again, but that was highly improbable.
They had no personal details of her and certainly no financial information.
She couldn't see a scam, if it was onc.
She had also been online for so many years that she pretty well knew what scam sites looked like - and this wasn't it.

And anyway, there were more than enough sex contact sites out there, quite explicitly looking for partners,without any ambiguity, so she could see no reason why this would be one of those.
There wasn't any intimation of that kind.
Of any kind.
In some ways she wished was it WAS a sex site.
At least then, she would know more about what she was dealing with.
She was no prude, and it wouldn't have bothered her.
(she was no a stranger to casual hook up sites).

What DID offend her, was not knowing what the hell this site was.

She emailed the 6 respondents back with dates and times of the live cam chat that she would like.

The first one would be tomorrow evening if they were genuine with their response...
She was a very pretty blonde girl , who was just a little younger than Amy...
