@juliank, hahahaha, there is a story behind that. Every time I try to make a shot like this it's either the wind, a bird, an insect, falling leaves or....some annoying stone throwing little kid that has no clue that there is a reason why I position myself like a Nat Geo photographer besides a lake :)

Interesting question. I would say it is more about foreground and background in this case. The reflection in the lake with the boat takes about 2/3 of the photo, while the background with the mountain and sky takes up 1/3. We are naturally drawn to that which is closer to us, creating a balance
