Something from my bar whenever I feel like it episode CCCXIV
Everyone has heard of the Rubik's Cube but it was just the first of the puzzle craze. There were cubes with more sides, pyramids and other puzzles. Seems like every company tried to jump on the bandwagon and make a few bucks. This one was a bit different. It was made to look like a roll of cherry Lifesavers candy. Several round discs resembling individual pieces but with pegs and holes in them. You had to put all the pieces in the right order for it to fit back in the tube. While it was different it was also the one drawback of this puzzle. Unlike a cube or pyramid or any other single piece puzzle if you didn't have time to finish this one you were left with pieces you couldn't put away. As you can see the last time I tried this (decades ago) I didn't get it done but did get to big pieces. I made it fit back in the tube by putting a hole in the lid. It sits on the shelf like that to this day.
