Steemit is a popular and profitable platform because a lot of people invested in it when they realized it's potential. It's value rises for the same reason everything else does - people's opinion. If everyone wants to join, then the fact it has is stabilished.

Investors really want this, so they find ways to lure people in. This is where we get our share. They build bots, curation projects, delegation rents and a lot more so we stay around, and we get paid because of it. Everyone wins.

Sure, they always end up with the greater sum, but we get proportionally more than them. Thanks to them, we get upvote from bots like minnowproject just for making a part of the community. I certainly appreciate this.

Maxing out takes planning and I'm still exploring and learning, but things like using @minnowhelper's smaller bots are a must for every new post, @speedvoter and @drotto grant a little boost in visibility. After a while comes the time for smartsteem's profitable vote-buying. And then @steemplayroom's steemgar game for a little fun or maybe sit at a table of lucksacks's steem poker league.
