Bali is a perfect getaway for the honeymooners, leisure travelers and bikers alike, a place where you can relax through yoga or a spa and take a calming hike or lose yourself under water. This exotic island is a store house of activities and one of the activities you will enjoy the most is shopping. You will be spoilt for choices at the streets of Ubud and you would want to pack rows of boutiques from Seminyak but I will make things easier for you as I list out the go to places for shopping in Bali.

Art and Craft

Ubud Art Market: Located at the center of the Ubud town the Art market is an artisan and handicraft market. This market of overwhelming shops is a must visit as not only will you have plenty of souvenirs to take home, it will be at a bargained price and haggling is expected. The shopping streets are colorful and the shops are filled with crochet bikinis, skirts and tops. The Balinese silk sarongs and wicker storage purses will easily pull your purse strings at a reasonable rate. The Balinese crafted masks and ikat and batik dress materials are varied. If you are inclined towards jewelry, the silver crafted jewelry are the most unique kind in Ubud, a courtesy of the villages nearby.

Frockk: A minimalistic clothing brand has three store in Bali, at Seminyak, Ubud and Canggu. The dresses are mostly in blues and pastels and are made in cotton, silk and natural linen. Since the materials are breathable, these dresses are perfect for the tropical weather and they look good too.

Magali Pascal: The chic boutique in Seminyak is your calling if you like the French tone of fashion. The dresses here are bohemian yet elegant. It adds the touch of vintage into your sense of style. It is slightly on the expensive side so if Seminyak is end of the road for you then do save up. It is always nice to French up your wardrobe.

Home and souvenirs

Rose Avenue: If you are at Seminyak, you have to stop and smell the roses. The Rose Avenue store is your perfect start for homeware shopping. The soothing pastel and neon colors of the items will beckon you to pick them up. Pineapple serve ware and flamingo wooden statues are just adorable. Even the furnishing items such as bed linen and cushion covers are pretty in pink and blues.

Triette Stores : If you have the hidden artist in you and you like colors then Triette store in Batu Belig is the place for you. This store has added their own spunk to the local arts and craft and have made the souvenirs unique. They have contemporary framed art work, candle stands, quirky wicker purses and more. It is going to take your breath away.

Bungalow Living - This store in Canggu has a more bohemian take on the products of Bali. If not anything, you would at least pick up a pastel crochet throw for your home. The prints of the kantha quilts are just exquisite and the hand painted cushions are pure collectibles. The store itself feels like home in hues of beige and blue.
