I wish my friend could find another job

One of my friends is increasingly suffering from the effect of a night job that started both to take his health and his reason. Some people are just not meant to work during the night, take in consideration they are almost always doing something else during the day as well.

In my opinion, there is more to it, maybe some substance abuse, because he does sound little 'too stable' lately which is really weird.

During the periods he tends to be edgy, nervous, verbal and after only a few days he is back being the best person in the world, agrees on everything and all the world is a sugar coated candy. One day he is self-delusional trying to explain how the world works to become some better version of itself, next day he couldn't care less, the third day he wishes he is dead- It's not drama, but job influencing his brain.

Usually, he sounds really ‘nasty’ and too much of an emo. Well, to be absolutely honest, the emotional discussion makes me freak out and run after initial 30 seconds, so… I am not very agreeable to discuss these things.

To an inner goth like me sometimes I even wish to push him off a bridge, but this new him is like a modest version of a catastrophe-in-creation. Why would somebody want to behave like this.

In my opinion, he should find another job, but there are no other opportunities at this moment. For me, it is kind of- whatever - I mean, is it really a difference day to night, when your whole world is black, gloomy and you couldn’t care less (LOL!). Well, that is me, I am almost always in the greatest ‘moody’ mood because I adore myself ( egomaniac..) and sarcasm helps a lot.
