Digressions on blockchain and regulation

By background I’m more versed in the intricacies of EU procedures and policies, however in the last two-three years I’ve spent some of my spare time discovering blockchain and how this promising technology could impact our lives.

However, throughout my readings and discussions I’ve come across a lot of misunderstandings, one of them being the lack of understanding of the difference between Bitcoin and blockchain.

I see this blog as a logbook of my searches and reflections around blockchain, be them definitions, uses or more comprehensive thoughts on policy and regulation. Ideally, people with such misunderstandings would read my rant and start perceive blockchain differently.

For that purpose, I came to the conclusion that creating an account on Steem would be a good place to start and here am I :).

Expect me to digress, be sometimes too enthusiast and (hopefully not too often) write total lies. Hopefully comments will open up the debate.
