Native: Participate or create a community.
Hello steemians in this opportunity I bring you my participation in the contest organized by @Originalworks and it is about Native, it is a tool that allows the creation of tokens based on Ethereum that is specifically oriented to communities which allows them to enter the global economy through of their own token which are administered collectively.
Native represents a great opportunity for all those emerging communities that need a financial structure, Native allows them to create their own structure characterized by providing their own currency as well as tools for making decisions.
Who can use Native?
Any community or collective with a real economic objective in common can make use of Native, which currently requires a Metamask wallet (Eth) in addition to using the Brave or Cipher browsers.
You can also install the Metamask extension in Google Chrome
All the users have the same function?
No, there are two types of users:
The curators: they are in charge to administer the project, basically they are the ones who initiate the community in Native, they have functions like approving or disapproving content elaborated by other members of the community.
The members: If you feel identified with any of these existing projects you can join. By joining a community you are part of it, you can actively participate in decision making. They can choose to change small things that do not affect the project or important decisions like replacing the curators.
What are the benefits of creating a community in Native?
- You can substitute traditional forms of crowdfunding and can raise capital by issuing tokens which serve as an investment.
- Native offers the possibility of which decisions are taken collectively with a new sounding system.
- Introduction to the global financial world thanks to Native.
Current projects:
There are at least six projects based on Native, which gives us to understand that Native is an adaptable project that responds to different needs in different communities.
In addition to being able to give voice and power to small communities, that is, they should not necessarily be large and powerful communities.
These are the communities that use Native:
- Earth Guardians is a Boulder, Colorado based non-profit that engages young people in programs to empower and amplify their voice, specifically around environmental justice.
- Imaginal Films is a community of conscious film enthusiasts: filmmakers, viewers, and funders convened in one digital ecosystem to collectively develop, produce and distribute conscious films.
- SDG Futures is a decentralized and distributed communities and technology stack for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Peace Accelerators is a New-York-based non-profit that is committed to accelerating the spread of global peace by using a community-driven, tech-centric, and future-forward perspective to devise solutions that leverage emergent technologies for the betterment of humanity.
- DOLO is a decentralized open learning organization working to iterate towards a future of smart education that is more open, agile, and rewarding for all stakeholders.
- The Rick & Morty Crew is a collective of fans committed to embracing all things wubalubadubdub!
How does Native bring something positive to the communities?
All over the world there are groups of people with common interests, interests can be pure passion and entertainment as interest in some kind of movies or serious things like global warming.
Sometimes it is difficult to connect with a group of people who have the same interest as you, either because they do not know how to set standards, how to maintain the project economically or how to have once in that community.
Native offers all these people a way to interact with a group of people who have your own interest and to work together to carry out the objectives that were taken.
In addition Native represents a boost to all those small groups not heard or simply want to form a community, since the existence of a protocolized form and generate income would motivate many groups to come together and grow together.

Use case
Use case number one
Jose is a League of Legends player but he only likes to play the ARAM (All Random All Mid) modality, sometimes he feels excluded because none of his friends likes to play this modality and even discredit it, but Jose no is limited and sometimes plays in the normal mode being support. Jose discovers Native and to know all its benefits such as a fundraising modality granting tokens called L-ARAM (Love ARAM) that have a cost of $ 5 which will be dedicated exclusively to meet the objectives of the project.
Another of the benefits offered by Native is to give voice and vote to all members of the community and that these are the ones who decide the course.
Knowing all these benefits Jose decides to create a community with a couple of acquaintances for all ARAM lovers whose mission is to create events, tournaments, promote the ARAM among the players of Lol, create collectable items such as flannels and computer accessories.
Use case number two
Daniel is passionate in the development of mobile applications and fitness, and her boyfriend Cesar is a nutritionist and knows a lot of healthy foods, together they decide to create a community but do not know how and researching they come across a post in Steemit about of Native and when knowing their benefits they decide to create a community.
The main objective of the community is to create mobile applications that help people maintain healthy habits, the first application they want to create is one that allows you to count as accurately as possible the calories per meal, how to distribute the macronutrients (carbohydrates , proteins and fats) according to your goal (maintain weight, increase muscle mass or lose fat), also shows healthy options to traditional foods that are not healthy.
The other application that you want to create is one with exercise routines that depend on level (beginner, intermediate or advanced) and your goals, also with a reminder alarm.
They created the community "Be healthy" and to be part of it you can enter paying $ 8 and you will receive tokens as part of your investment.
