Chimaera Might Be What I'm Looking For

I've been waiting for something like Chimaera for a couple of years now. As the IT support guy for a local family-owned restaurant I'd love to be able to create a game our patrons could play to earn rewards that can be traded for food and drinks.

I'd want several types of games for different age-groups. And I would like to be able to have each game programmed with an ‘interaction point’ where players from one game might interact with players from another game.

For the youngest of us, perhaps a 'Young Farmers' game where players are rewarded for growing healthy crops, with greater rewards for sustainable farming practices and community services. As their farms grew and prospered they would accumulate CHI, which could then be 'spent' at the local store for credits to be applied at the physical restaurant.

Markets for the crop sales would be a game played by teenagers and younger adults. In game, they buy raw farm goods from the younger farmers. Their profits come from either using the raw farm goods themselves to make food or from selling the raw goods to a manufacturer. Again, their CHI can be converted into credits applied at the physical restaurant.

Manufacturers are the older players (or players of any age who have accumulated enough CHI to start a manufacturing facility). They manufacture goods that the farmers and the marketers need and create a profit from those sales. Again, any profits can be used towards credits at the physical store.

These are simple and basic ideas which have not been thoroughly fleshed out. I honestly don’t know right now exactly how to program these games. I don’t know if Chimaera will have the abilities to do something like this. But I will be watching as the roll-out continues with anticipation.
