"Blockchain" Is My Business Name!
My Utah company is named "Internet of Things", "IoT", and now "Blockchain". This is the introduceyourself for my business.
My love for technology is why I have claimed legal ownership of these brands. It has been a lot of fun learning new technologies and positioning for opportunities.
My love for Blockchain began on Steemit in the summer of 2017. First I blogged, earned some STEEM, and then I began researching how much more there is to the blockchain than #bitcoin, or any #cryptocurreny.
I ended up in a meeting with Microsoft in their Lehi, Utah office. The topic was regarding partnership opportunities, and how blockchain is beginning to change entire process such as real estate purchases. I even learned that Walmart is using blockchain to track meat from start to finish. It is effective in cases of bad meat, so they can identify what store it was sent to and remove the meat from the store.
These are just a few examples how #blockchain is changing industries. I am excited to see what the future holds and what opportunities there will be to implement blockchain throughout many businesses and industries.

I had heard of blockchain throughout my intro into cryptos back on Thanksgiving 2017. Like you, it was my discovery of steemit that made me more interested in blockchain.
I have been hearing how more and more industries are implementing blockchain into their business format. With steemit being built on the blockchain, I can see what it has done with social media! I can see why they say it's the new Internet.
I am glad I had that one Facebook friend who promoted steemit.com so well. Otherwise, I would have been clueless about blockchain. When I met with Microsoft recently and heard all they had to say about blockchain. The first thing they said is that blockchain is not bitcoin. That BTC is blockchain version 1.0. Then they discussed how much more it can do for businesses. Especially with smart contracts.
I am really glad I put time into steemit.
I first came across steem 3 to 4 weeks before even knowing steemit existed, testing out the crypto world. Discovering steemit has allowed me to discover the broader view of blockchain.
