A DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization. The Earth Nation is a DAO and has created eight other DAOs in the past five years. This is in addition to building nine intentional communities and fourteen cooperative businesses. Creating sustainable organizations that benefit the planet is what we do!

The strength of a DAO is evident from the name. Bring decentralized, the executive power of the organization is spread evenly among members of the DAO. This gives the organization many of the strengths of a traditional business but does not share the weakness of being limited by the decision-making potential of a CEO. Each member of a DAO has the same power and decision-making potential as any other member, giving the organization a higher reflexive ability to adapt to changes that directly impact the DAO. This pairs well with the autonomous nature of such a collective, as each member can act freely to best serve the whole group.

DAOs are a new form of organization that is only possible as a direct result of the blockchain. The software systems a DAO employs allows for voting, decision-making, and exchanges to happen instantaneously, even if the organization is spread across continents and millions of members. The systems the Earth Nation have developed allow for the painless adoption of these new possibilities, which in turn will also expand the popularity of the blockchain with the masses.

Change is a fundamental part of the universe which happens whether we want it to or not. Look at the world around us: there is no denying that the world is accelerating through a massive metamorphosis. These advents in technology allow humanity to take a significant step forward towards utopia. There is no question that the way communities and businesses will organize will start evolving en masse, due to the inherent benefits DAOs have over old paradigm organizations.

Working cooperatively, broad spread adoption of our systems of abundance and sustainability will lead to a global economic revolution. A critically limiting factor to humanity’s potential has always been tied to logistics. By allying as one interconnected trade network, groups and individuals around the world can exchange their specific abundances, these limits disappear.

Competitive, exploitative systems of economics and governance mathematically cannot compete. We are employing humanity’s dominant strategy, growing a planetary network that is working collectively towards a brighter future for everyone.
