Why I Love steem and why I am here for long term

Hello steemians around the world welcome to my blog 😃

In this post I want to finally get around to discussing with you to the best of my ability on why I love the steem blockchain and why I will be around for the long term future of this wonderful community on the blockchain.

So let’s jump in...

the future

Watching these hardforks going by and seeing new users come in makes me exited to see where steem is heading. A lot of people are always looking ahead and the future will hopefully be amazing.

THE BLOCKCHAIN ITSELF

Upon signing up to steem I knew very little about steem I didnt have a clue what it was furthermore I didn’t understand anything about cryptocurrency, decentralisation or blogging Despite all of that I decided to give it a go because a couple of friends talked to me about it and I wanted to just have a go as in life you have to try things and even if its not for you at least you gave it a go.

I was able to find my feet pretty quickly with assistance from amazing users on the blockchain and thanks to them I am able to learn the things I didn’t know about prior to signing up to the blockchain I say learn because with steem you are always learning.

Thanks to steem and the community I was able to learn about cryptocurrency but I also learned much more and that was all thanks to steem and it’s users.

THE DISCORD COMMUNITIES

My favourite thing about steem is actually off steem and in Discord. When signing up to steem and posting my first blog post I got a couple comments directing me to dapps, users and communities. I ended up joining a few of servers assuming I wouldn’t use discord a lot but I was so wrong.

And still to this day I’m still active in these amazing servers built by the steem users for steem users, my favourites by far being...

The ramble discord server: the ramble I cant exactly remember how I found the ramble I believe it was via the alliance server but it’s by far my favourite server.

Actifit discord server Actift Actifit was one of the first discord servers I joined as upon posting my first post on steem a friend who told me about it also recommended I should try out Actifit.

Steem terminal terminal I didn’t join the terminal straight away unlike the others but when I did they where very helpful and I would recommend this server to any new steemian or any steemian for that matter.

All of these servers plus more have helped me with my journey on steem thanks to these servers I was able to chat to passionate steemians, receive advice on my posts and also promote my posts to a wider audience without discord I would’ve have found it very hard to make content.

THE PEOPLE

partly mentioned this above but another big thing I absolutely love about steem is the people that use steem. Thanks to steem I have met and socialised with so many wonderful users.

I have been able to interact with Users from America, United Kingdom, Australia, Europe and many more places around the world. People with all kinds of different backgrounds, cultures and lives. I have met some truly amazing users on steem and I enjoy looking for their content they produce on steem as well as socialise with them all because without steem I would’ve have never have gotten to know these people.

I won’t tag because there are just so many of you lovely people 😃

Community is Steem’s best aspect and it’s only going to get bigger so why not stay for the long term!

I’m staying with for the long term future because I have been able to talk with many acquaintances some I even consider friends and I’m very privileged to be able to talk with them regularly wether it’s about splinterlands, steem or even off steem I have gotten to chat to so many fantastic users around the blockchain.
