The Parksen Green, Smart and Connected City Platform has the power to revolutionize urban infrastructure industries. To prove solution resilience, Parq is going to bring the desired and necessary innovation to one of the most outdated industries out there: Parking and Transportation.
Challenges ahead of the team are following – loss of time and money for overpaying parking spots, outdated systems, dependency and environmental issues.
Parq Global solution is created for Green, Smart and Connected City platform. Stakeholders and Users of this project are as following – drivers, parking spot owners, parking app providers, software / hardware providers, developers and early adopters.
The Parksen app currently allows users to easily locate and reserve parking spots throughout the Netherlands. Because application runs entirely on the cloud and is connected to municipalities and garages through a variety of application interfaces, users are always guaranteed to receive real-time information on parking possibilities near them.
Dashboard for municipalities, companies and parking garages is already existing in the Neatherlands. It maps how many cars have parked in garage spots, predicts activity in the next hour / week and provides user with analytical insights based on which you can optimize garage spaces. User can easily import existing and relevant data and add it to the central system for registration and licensing, as well as add parking zones, complete the parking zone profiles by adding additional metadata such as location, status, price, timeslots, conditions and exceptions.
User can also keep an eye on the status of connected smart devices, sensors, parking machines and access control systems. Thanks to acquired real-time information user can easily optimize and improve your available infrastructure and purchase new hardware directly though the dashboard.
Parksen app is hosted entirely in the cloud and made available for all participating Dutch stakeholders and users. Everyone uses the same data, the same systems and the same databases. This way users do not have to suffer inconsistencies and the stakeholders are always guaranteed to be up-to-date. The way Parksen systems are set up will allow participants immediate access to all of the needed information, without having to pay for expensive hardware and individual software.
Globally, Parksen is focused on English-speaking, Russian and Asian market, due to high congestion on their roads, with Moscow and Seoul highlighted.
Features and Integration include registering and offering parking spots, location and mapping of parking spots, incorporating smart, IoT and green devices, as well as reviews, surveys and data sharing. IOTA is seen as good collaboration partner for Parksen.
Parking providers currently earn money through commission, as they kickback almost all of the money paid by a driver for a municipal- or parking garage-owned spot to the respective owner of that location. Parksen will operate under this same principle, earning between 5% and 10% on every parking action depending on the local prices and systems – this will be Parksen main source of income during the first stages. Later on, by offering equipment and services for municipalities, companies and individual users for a lower-than-market price, Parksen will also claim a commission fee for any and all purchases made at one of our partners. Finally, at a future stage, Parksen also want to work closely with maintenance and repair companies. Connecting the perfect firm to one of our clients will also include a small commission fee.
