Blockchain and the Future of Work
Welcome to the 4th Industrial Revolution. Welcome to the Exponential Age. Ready or not, it is coming and around 70-80% of the current jobs will probably disappear in the next 20 years.

One of the things I am more interested about blockchain technology is how it returns the power back to the people. Through blockchain, new social models are being built based on peer-to-peer relations, organized without the involvement of third-parties. Smart contracts facilitate this self-organization with trusted rules, enforced by programmable algorithms.
The days of trading our degree certificate for a nice safe job are gone. Graduate is simply not enough anymore; the world demands more from us. We are the future. We are the next generation of aspiring leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, and we have a responsibility to change the current state of humanity. If new social models are being made using technologies like blockchain, why can´t we change the paradigm of "looking for a job" to "making a job"?
The discussion of technology and the future of work is too often dominated by the idea of automation and job destruction. Blockchain and DLTs does certainly contribute to accelerate this phenomenon, but in the process, as Vitalik Buterin said, we will create better ones. The future is bright and beautiful. Let´s love it, strive for it, and work for it!
