Fortune - Standard Chartered says Ether could reach $8,000 by 2026 as blockchain upgrades continue
Ether is trading near a six-month low, but Standard Chartered bank predicts it could hit an all-time high of $8,000 by the end of 2026.
The bank believes Ether has the potential to explode in value due to upgrades scheduled for the Ethereum blockchain, as well as a possible rise in the popularity of blockchain gaming and tokenized real-world assets.
While the launch of Ethereum futures ETFs has not boosted inflows to the cryptocurrency so far, Standard Chartered is bullish on Ether's long-term prospects.
