Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin expressed his disapproval of the US regulators' crackdown on cryptocurrency projects, including his blockchain's biggest rival Solana.

He believes that such a move would not be an honorable way for Ethereum to "win", and that the real competition is not other blockchains but the "rapidly expanding centralized world".

The SEC has been cracking down on the cryptocurrency industry this year, labeling SOL and several other cryptocurrencies as unregistered securities.
