Lining Up The Right Perspective About Steemit And The Need For Patience

BLOCKCHAIN BLOGGER.png

The major issues that was highlighted in the Blockchain Blogger last week were matters of the heart and mind, I talked more about developing the right mindset about Steemit

There are a lot of things that we need to come to terms with if we are going to truly make impact on this Platform

The first of the week was : The Nightmare Of Blogging On Steemit.... And What A Dream It Could Be

In the post I talked about what almost everyone on this platform face, and that is crushed expectations, the Steemit we are experiencing is not the one we heard when it was being marketed to us. Things are not happening as planned, but it is left for us to make this platform what we expected it to be, a place of solace and hope for others who are coming in

@sunnyebinum said : Steemit is a wonderful platform. Everyone is here to be rewarded, but beyond the reward, enjoying what you do here is more important. Give it your all, post your best quality posts, make friends, comment on peoples post, the earnings will definitely come. And if the earnings don't come, just keep enjoying yourself...
It's steem steem steem!

@ronimm said: Very inspiring post @ogochukwu . This platform has so much to offer. We have here pretty much everything that allows us to express whatever we wish. Apart from blogging we have D tube, dsound, busy, peerhub etc and there is no other platforms out there that offers so much for being creative.

Steemit gives an opportunity to every idea to be rewarded accordingly to the crowd"s will. Of course it is not get rich quick scheme, but it has limitless potential for patient people. Thanks for sharing

The second post of the week was titled : Blogging With Emotions.......How Uncertainty Stifles Creativity On Steemit

In this post I talked about the Number one thing that kills creativity on Steemit, and that is uncertainty, when One is not sure he will earn anything from it

But Certainty should not be your goal, you have to find out ways by which you can make impact on this platform, and know that everyone has something to offer

@greenrun said: That feeling is what I called The Zero Feeling, and surprisingly it was one of my highest earning post. No matter how difficult it may be, the upvotes shouldn't be your only motivation. Because if it is, then you would be up for series of heartbreaks and disappointment.

@gunneresq : Steemit Is a mechanism for you to need to use and effect the change you want to see in the World.
You have actually said more than enough with this post. The point is that we have to change our orientation about the platform in other to appreciate the beauty in it.

I wrote someone about the wrong reasons to write on steemit one time and this work is just an augmentation to my own.

Thanks alot for this.

You are absolutely on point, I'm currently chatting with a newbie that quitted. Reason: no upvotes. I checked the posts made so far and I found 8 posts with 13 comments from him and he hasn't upvoted anyone. I told him maybe people that read his posts are just like him. They post and disappear and expect ghosts to upvote their posts. Also the impatience is something that should be worked on. Happy steeming.

That is very true. Patience and Interaction is key.

Give and you shall receive that is the basic rule of life.

@ogochukwu

Thanks a lot boss

Yes it can be very fraustrating when no one pays attention to your work, especially when you spend quality time on it, hoping to get appreciated by comments or reesteem, even though you don't get paid for it. However, patience is a virture everyone on steemit should have, especially newbies, it will all make sense at the long run.

It is not only enough to have patience @cutedicta

You also have to go out there and give people a reason to listen to you.

@ogochukwu

Whatever you do may seem insignificant to you, but it is most important that you do it.

One of the major things that brings about frustration in steemit community is having the mindset of making money,if such is not achieved as quick as they want it,some will quit. But if one have the mindset of have fun,make friends and express one's feeling while been original,if you are rewarded in the process,you just accept it that way.
Steemit is a wonderful community to be

Yes @maintain4real-eu you also have to create or join a community around what you do.

The Steemit community is huge, so you need a sub-community to support you.

@ogochukwu

Exactly, this advice/admonition needs to be on the front-page every now and then.
You observed well @Ogochukwu

Thanks for reading @idunique

i think plenty of new users are expecting this to be some kind of mammoth cash cow that will make them rich instantly...which is just patently false. if payouts were so bloated that i'd never have to work a normal job within two months of joining steemit, i'd say there was something very seriously suspicious about that.

as such, i feel that steemit is pretty much exactly how it was described to me before i ever logged on and i have zero issues with any part of the site (other than the newbies and their spammy ways, but that may never go away...)

Hello @bucho

There will always be problem with newbies as far as there are newbies, their need to be constant Mentorship for newbies.

@ogochukwu

Very expository bro. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for reading @samminator
