Black and White Silhouettes - Two In One
Two Silhouettes Art Installation
This is another one of those photographs where you really need to click on the arrow to view it full screen to see what is going on.
There are two lots of silhouettes. The ones inside the tent are dancers that were part of an arty performance'.
They were inside a big domed tent in one of the local parks, as part of an art installation performance during the annual Brighton Festival. There were a number of tents with various performances going on inside of them.
It was an evening performance and everything started after dark.
If you look carefully you can see the door on the left through which the dancers entered the tent.
For this particular performance pictures of various countries in the world were projected onto the inside of the tent to tell a story about the effect of climate change on the planet. You can see the Himalayas in this shot.
The second group of silhouettes are the people watching the performance who are standing outside the tent.
This is one of the great joys of living in Brighton and Hove. So many interesting festivals and activities happen here. There's always something interesting to see, especially in the summer.
