BEOS is Now Signing Blocks in International Waters
Lana's cross pacific cruise account BEOS node just signed its first BEOS block at sea. Her trip continues from New Zealand to Tahiti and despite a few dropouts in connectivity, her node is working. This is huge, it means we have the connectivity to keep up with the world's fastest blockchain, signing blocks every half second bouncing the packets off a low earth orbit satellite network.
This is particularly significant, because we can now execute smart contracts only in international waters, while avoiding such transactions in countries that prohibit such freedom.
Get your free BEOS being dropped until July 7th on anyone who moves their BitShares onto the BEOS network.
Here's How to Get Yours
And get ready to run on the network that connects BitShares to the EOS Universe.
Stan's been thinking about boats for quite a while now...... but who knew just exactly was in the back of his mind all this time?

on the same boat...
I am sure the fudsters will say they are not in national waters! lol
Thus the visionaries vision becomes reality!
Stan!
This is absolutely outSTANding, man! :D
Congratulations on another milestone along the BEOS visionquest pathway. 🤝
😄😇😄
Well said!! I'm still smiling, and still honored to be part of this historical milestone!!! I also love @kus-knee's comment of the visionaries vision becomes reality!! The next 2 days are Moorea, Bora Bora, then another 5 days at sea of to Hawaii.
What an amazing cruise this is!!
Hi Lana,
Thanks for your kind words. It sounds like you're on an amazing adventure, and I appreciate very much the extra BEOS task you've taken on for the team. Thank you again! :)
Stand up and take a bow sir. The freedom of money, movement, ideas and people will be built on initiatives like these! I'll be following it closely from now on
so wait....you are on the international waters to make sure that you are in nomansland so there is no governmental problems with it? that is brilliant!!
(i initially thought it was just about that blocks are produced even at sea, and vacay time...)
Congratulations @stan!
You raised your level and are now a Dolphin!

I haven't been this excited about a project since the last big one I managed to early bird my way into! I truly cannot wait to see there BEOS takes us in terms of institutional adoption. Great job @stan!
