Bitcoin is Booming: My Favourite Cryptocurrency : XRPsteemCreated with Sketch.

In part one, I shared whatever little bit I knew about Bitcoin. Now in this part , I will try to write about XRP. Currently i hold 54 + RIPPLE COINS and i am planning to keep holding as airdrop is comming and i am going to get benefited by getting proportionate spark (FLR) token on my crpto.com account or app.

XRP is no ways behind in a race of crypto with market cap rank 3 and Market cap dominance of 4.88 percent. Undoubtedly XRP yet has long long to go to be a tough compeptator of king coin (Bitcoin) . As for I can check, it's price today is 0.547337 with a 24-hour trading volume of 10,523,809,271.

It may be due to forthcoming airdrop for Ripple holders scheduled to happen on 12th of December on crypto. Com or app. Binance is the current leading platform as for XRP transections are concerned.

Ripple Protocol Consensus Algorithm.

XRP transections are different from Bitcoin and Etherium in a way that it does not involve Proof of Work and mining. It however works on a similar system as that of block chain. Transections are processed by trusted group of validators before recording on XRP Ledger. This sort of consensus mechanism is called Ripple Protocal Concensus algorithm.

XRP is better than Bitcoin.

Does this sound scary? It should not be, because I am suppprting this argument with following facts ;

  • Average transection speed of XRP is 3 sec where that of BTC is 10 seconds. And time taken for flat international transections varies from hours to days.

  • XRP ledger can handle about 1500 transections per second while that of BTC can handle about 2. 5 transections per second. It means that XRP is 600 times faster than BTC. As ledger system from both are not same, I believe BTC ledger is more secure than XRP. What do you think?

  • XRP transection fee is much much lesser than BTC when both are measures in terms of same crypto or flat.

Coingecko

  • XRP is far superior as a mediator of transections than BTC.

  • Total supply of BTC caps only at 21 million while that of XRP is 100 billion.

  • XRP ledger is more eco- friendly than BTC because energy expenditure in bitcoin mining is huge.

    Ripple coins are one of my favorite coins to invest in. Now that the value is fair and affordable.

    I would definitely not discourage you from holding it because it numerous advantages it has.

    It's transaction fees is much lesser compared to a lot of other coins especially BTC.

          Airdrop is a aort of event in which free crypto tokens are distributed to eligible candidates. On 12th spark (FLR) will be distributed among XRP holders proportionate to XRP .
          And yes for now, it's only for crpto. Com or app users.
