Official Bitcoin Miner -- with Option to Mine Ethereum, Dash, Zcash or Litecoin -- [TIL]
Today I learned that while mining for Bitcoin, I could also mine Ethereum, Dash, Zcash and/or Litecoin, all through Genesis-Mining. I am currently strictly mining Bitcoin only, but am planning to do some homework to see which is a more profitable coin to mine. Each coin has different variables during different times that make them vary in profitability. So in the future, as I become more comfortable with the user interface on Genesis-Mining, which is pretty basic and straightforward as it is, I might possibly begin to mine a different coin.
Another thing that I like about Genesis-Mining is that they do have an affiliate/referral program. This allows you to earn slightly more hashing power or earn BTC when someone signs up using your code or link. It is a tiered program, so that as more people use your affiliate link or code, you gain more and more Bitcoin and/or Hashing power. For now, I am choosing to gain more hashing power should someone use my affiliate link. I am offering a small Steem Gift as well when using my code to sign up with Genesis Mining.

Because Genesis-mining can specify the method and rate of payment by yourself, it is convenient because it can be withdrawn in a high-rate currency.
