Everex aims to enable the transfer of funds between two individuals using crypto-cash. Crypto-cash will use the Ethereum network and always be pegged 1:1 with a fiat currency. Note:
In the terms it states that if the price of ETH is under $250 on the July 24th, 250 EVX will be given for 1 ETH.
Example:
ETH Price = $235
BTC Price = $2750
Ratio = 2750/235 = 1 (BTC): 11.702 (ETH)
An investor who puts in 10 ETH will receive 10*250 = 2500 EVX
If 1 BTC they receive. 11.702 * 250 = 2925.5 EVX
Important:

This looks to be a good one to get involved in, but it's hard to actually value the EVX tokens after the ICO has completed.
No doubt a large VC would love this (given the 20% promoted min ROI), so my best guess is that the sale will conclude 5 minutes after it starts.
I guess we have just over a day to gather our thoughts and decide if we're going to take the plunge.
From there, if you decide to go, it's just a case of working out the best way to get your cash in as fast as you can!
Everex token sale is still available to anyone who wants in. Looks like close to half of the tokens have been purchased in one day. I wouldn't wait too long.
In my view I would much rather a lot of small interested investors than big VCs. I had hoped they would put a maximum cap for investors. As for putting cash in its not the same as other ICOs. Sounds like a good idea but the regulation uncertainty keeps me away. Even good ideas require timing. Its too much risk in my book but as always I'm just an average guy who's skeptical and realizes he has much to learn before truly making informed decisions.
That is true, however in my view the possibilities of this project outweigh the risk. Imagine a world where the banks and governments lose control over all our livelihoods. In my view this is the next step on that path we have gone down already with block-chain.
The reason that we see huge returns in the crypto world is BECAUSE we take risks, such as the one you listed above (regulation uncertainty ). If regulation was established, you and I would probably not be able to invest at all.
You make some key points. Super! Everex is highly under rated right now. The team has created many Ether apps like Ethplorer. Everex is one of oldest Ether Dapp teams since 2015! If anyone can pull this off its them! Unlike just a whitepaper with no proven team this one has major potential!
