Idea
PIVX stands for Private Instant Verified Transaction. It was once forked from Dash and combines the best features of different currently existing cryptocurrencies. The project is completely open source and highly decentralized with currently 1,600 masternodes. Based on Proof-of-Stake this first and foremost community-driven project offers a cryptocurrency with nearly instant transactions because of their so-called SwiftX technology and a very strong focus on privacy and security by integrating a modified form of the Zerocoin protocol.
Team
The PIVX project is completely based on the work and development of the whole PIVX community. So everyone has the ability to contribute. People who are part of the community and contribute regularly have the option to be listed as a team member but regarding their focus on privacy the community is of course much bigger than you may expect if you look at their homepage. The community is indeed very active and you can follow their progress on different channels like Reddit, Discord, Github etc.
Roadmap
There is no specific roadmap in the sense of projected timelines but they have a lot of features they want to implement in the near future. There are much more in the planning stage but the one‘s on which they‘re currently working are::
