I bought a shit coin so you don't have to
Hey,
I'm writing this story so you don't buy shit coins! I only invested a couple hundred, but a loss is still a loss.
A couple months ago, I bought a coin called b3. It's a coin just like bitcoin, except faster transactions/lower fees, etc.
It was my first time buying from an exchange, so it was a learning experience. I didn't know what was meant by the "low price", "high price", "ask price" etc.
I also didn't know how to figure out if I was buying at a good price or not. It just sounded like a good investment and I was ready to make some money...
The coin has had almost 0 growth, there's about 0 support on the discord now, and there's 0 need to buy the b3 coin.
Here's 3 things you need to know about a coin BEFORE you invest:
Make sure they have team members listed on their website.
Make sure the coin has a definite purpose.
Make sure they have organic growth.
Of course these 3 things aren't needed, but the risk of the coin being a shit coin is significantly lower.

Yep, gotta play to win...it's like the lottery...except the fact that it would have been nearly impossible to lose money last year in Crypto unless you did it on purpose lol.
I've been reading for 3 weeks now, and on my have taken a couple small losses, tho one was just a typing error.

Yes I am! I'm trading PRL on KuCoin and having great success. There's still plenty of time to buy in. I wrote a small article about it. They're releasing the testnet by the end of January. The price should rocket. I'll be selling for some profits and rebuying. I'm also looking at a couple more coins. I've done lots of research. I'll be posting some more soon. Thanks for commenting!

I've been thinking that as well... It better not be Ripple. I would lose my mind if that happened. I'd have to do more research. Possibly NEO? I wish it was IOTA because of it's value/can solve real world problems. I need to buy some IOTA as soon as possible. It's been under $4.00 way too long.

B3 team has been busting thier humps actually, the big issues were overcome and the result was KB3 (B3 in K or to say 1000B3 are now 1 KB3.
I think you may live to regret jumping off that boat, but I FULLY understand you. I am on B3 Dischord and in the live chats. I recommend that you get involved in the community of the coins you are invested in, at the very least follow them all on Twitter.
I'm a KB3 Hodler... not for nothing but have you ever transferred B3? Its instant. Its a crazy fast coin with great tech and a somewhat uncommunicative dev team, but that has also been addressed and improved.
Bottom line, I believe in the project at this time. But If you had asked me not too long ago I would have given you an answer similar to OP.
